CoronaVirus 2019

March 12, 2020

As you are aware, our communities have been taking action to reduce the spread of COVID-2019. The folks that we care for are considered by the MDHHS guidelines issued yesterday to be "at risk of severe illness." At Cretsinger Care Homes, Ltd. we have been consulting official guidelines and are taking the following steps.

Effective immediately, only essential visitors are allowed in any of our facilities. Please see the information below which is now posted on each of our facility doors. If there is information you need, we prefer to fax, e-mail or share over the phone.

We are in discussion to determine whether or not community outings should be cancelled or limited. The number on recommendation by MDHHS is for those at severe risk of illness to stay home. non-essential outings are on hold pending further conversation and guidance from partner agencies.

High contact surfaces are being disinfected a minimum of every 8 hours and more often as needed. Policies regarding hygiene and staff illness are also being implemented following recommended best practices.

We are taking all precautions to protect our residents and staff from becoming ill and will post updates here if we are affected by the coronavirus.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we all try to navigate this outbreak.

Sincerely,

Renee Kelly
