This home provides sevices for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness or cognitive impairement. The large historic home allows for the provision of care to 20 men and women with varying levels of need for activities of daily living and supervision. Some of our residents have jobs or attend day programs and travel independently in the community.
Dawn Pettie, Home Manager
Dawn joined our team as the Home Manager at Cretsinger Fremont in the fall of 2016. She came to us with extensive experience running adult foster care and managing people. Dawn has already made a strong positive impact in our community by providing support for others and is excited for the challenges of running Cretsinger Fremont. She is resourceful, dependable and energetic and brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. Dawn is responsible for every aspect of Fremont including resident well-being and staff management. We are so excited to have Dawn leading our Fremont team and look forward to all she'll share with us.

RE: Cretsinger Fremont is changing owners
Dear Residents, Families and Guardians,
As our Licensee Bob Cretsinger looks toward retirement, we made the difficult decision to sell Cretsinger Fremont. Some of the folks in this home have been part of the Cretsinger Family for over 25 years, so this was not a decision taken lightly.
We are thrilled to be able to introduce you to Ali Hamad, who will be the new owner and operator. Ali is a Battle Creek resident and the owner and pharmacist at Luxcare Pharmacy on Capital Avenue SW. Through our interactions with him, it is obvious that Ali has a passion for helping others. We have found him to be kind, compassionate and intelligent and are confident that he will continue to maintain the standards of care that you have come to expect with Cretsinger Care Homes over the years. However, 54 Fremont will be renamed Infinity AFC effective November 1, 2019.
We are committed to a smooth transition for everyone involved and will continue to work collaboratively for several months. Dawn Pettie, the outstanding home manager, and the rest of the current staff are staying on in their current positions. The folks who live in the home will experience minimal changes as most of the transition will happen in the background through licensing, paperwork and staff training.
Beginning November 1, 2019, all business related to 54 Fremont Street will be handled by
Infinity AFC.
