The exits from both buildings open onto an enclosed patio. With a coded gate, residents at risk of wandering can safely enjoy time outdoors. There's also plenty of room for a game of bean bag toss!
Kyria S - Executive Director
Kyria has been with Cretsinger Care Homes since 2015. She began as a direct care provider and soon moved into an Assistant Manager position. Kyria is energetic, compassionate and responsive to the needs of those around her. As an Assistant Manager she was always willing to take on new responsibilities and learn new things. Kyria filled the Medication Manager position for over 2 1/2 years, developing a strong working relationship with the pharmacies and setting up our electronic medical records. Ever eager to learn new skills, Kyria changed positions again in 2020 to become the Executive Director for Cretsinger Care Homes. She is the responsible manager for Pennfield Premier Living, but is also a resource for other aspects of our business. Kyria is a great asset to our management team and we are proud to have her representing us.
Jodee Hicks - Medication Manager
Part of our team since January of 2016, Jodee has won the hearts of all of our residents. She is soft spoken and attentive, taking the time to really know each person and connect with them. Jodee has spent time as both a second and third shift assistant manager before moving to first shift management team in December of 2019. Jodee became our Medication Manager in May 2020. This role turns her focus to the medical needs of our residents, including scheduling and follow through on medical concerns, ordering and stocking medications and training our med techs. We are excited that Jodee has taken on this challenge and will continue to benefit our Pennfield Premier Living family.
Jackie Swift - First Shift Manager
Jackie joined us in 2015. She has performed multiple roles before stepping into the position of First Shift Assistant Manager in May 2020. Her duties will be all encompassing when filling this role. Some days she will be passing meds and solely providing resident care. But her management duties will have her attending person centered plans, working with placement agencies and helping coordinate the many tasks that need to happen on a daily basis. Jackie has a magic touch when interacting with our residents and is a great leader for our other employees. She is a natural "helper" and is always the first to step in when something needs to be done. As our primary trainer for new employees, this is a great skill to pass on. Jackie also became an instructor for the American Red Cross in June 2020.
Joanna Tapia - Second Shift Assistant Manager
Jordyn Akers - Kitchen Manager
Jordyn has been at Pennfield Premier Living since April 2016. She has always been flexible to figure out what needs to be done and find ways to make it happen. Jordyn has proven herself to be an excellent caregiver and has a compassionate personality. In May 2020, Jordyn accepted the position of Kitchen Manager. This is a diverse position that requires planning, ordering and shopping, as well as staff management and extensive knowledge of each resident's dietary requirements. All the staff from the kitchen also need to step in to assist with direct care when needed. We are grateful that Jordyn is up for the challenge.
